#### 7 For-and-against essay
**Is it a good idea to become a vegetarian?**
Nowadays, more and more people are choosing a vegetarian lifestyle. While some consider it the best choice for health and nature, others believe that a meat-free diet has serious drawbacks.
On the one hand, there are several benefits to becoming a vegetarian. Firstly, plant-based diets are rich in vitamins, minerals and fibre, which can reduce the risk of heart disease and obesity. Furthermore, not eating meat helps protect animals and reduces the negative impact of farming on the environment.
On the other hand, there are disadvantages to consider. To begin with, it can be difficult to get enough essential nutrients, such as iron and vitamin B12, without eating meat or taking supplements. In addition, vegetarians often find it challenging to choose meals when eating out at restaurants.
All in all, becoming a vegetarian has both pros and cons. In my opinion, it is a healthy choice, provided that you plan your meals carefully. *(147 words)*
