Союз **due to the fact that** переводится как «из-за того, что» и используется перед придаточным предложением (*subject + verb*). Фраза *as a result* требует после себя предлога *of* (*as a result of the fact that*). 2. Союз **so that** («чтобы/для того чтобы») используется перед придаточным предложением с подлежащим и глаголом (*they will be*). Союз **in order to** требует после себя инфинитива глагола. 3. **This would** выступает в роли подлежащего и модального глагола к сказуемому *reduce*. Вариант *In this way* является обстоятельством («таким образом») и требовал бы после себя отдельного подлежащего (*In this way, this/they would reduce...*). 4. После **in order to** используется начальная форма глагола (инфинитив *deter* — предотвращать/сдерживать).
