They study in Year 9 and Year 10 (in the 9th and 10th form). My aunt and uncle are in their late thirties (nearly forty). They like doing sports. That is why they are strong, healthy and young. My uncle drives well. He has an international driving licence. In summer they sometimes travel. 3. Edgar is a German student. He lives in the south of Germany. Edgar's Japanese friend (girlfriend) lives in the capital of Japan. They communicate in English. **b)** — Hi! How are you? *(или How are things?)* — Fine / OK. And you? — Everything is fine. Dmitry. --- ### Объяснения и правила 1. **Exercise 10 (Множественное число):** * Указательные местоимения меняются: `this` $\rightarrow$ `these`. * Формы глагола *to be* и *have got*: `is` $\rightarrow$ `are`, `has got` $\rightarrow$ `have got`. * Существительные-исключения: `child` $\rightarrow$ `children`, `man` $\rightarrow$ `men`. * Окончания: `box` $\rightarrow$ `boxes` (после шипящих добавляется *-es*), `watch` $\rightarrow$ `watches`. * Притяжательный падеж во множественном числе для правильных существительных образуется добавлением одного апострофа: `girls'`. 2. **Exercise 11 (Притяжательные прилагательные и абсолютные местоимения):** * Притяжательные прилагательные стоят **перед** существительным: *my, your, his, her, its, our, their*. * Абсолютные притяжательные местоимения заменяют существительное и стоят **самостоятельно**: *mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs*. 3. **Exercise 12 (Глаголы *to be* и *have got*):** * *have got / has got* используется для выражения владения: с местоимением *you* — **have**, с именем *Kathy* (3-е лицо, ед. ч.) — **has**. * Формы глагола *to be*: с *I* — **am**, с существительным в ед. ч.
